The Friends wanted to celebrate and show Kennington Parks’ rich history with the local community and beyond. A range of annual booklets were created

focussing on a specifıc aspect of the park. Designed using well researched copy, historical imagery, typography reflecting each era and story. Maycreation has

been proud to support this popular Friends project that helped connect the community with its park, encourage them to visit, and appreciate and support

the park and The Friends work. Various charitable funding and/or sponsorship provided a litho print run, and they’re available as a pdf. Covering a WWII

air raid tragedy, the Chartists’ political rally, sports & pastimes, horticulture and landscaping.
